The Rolex Explorer II is a popular watch model that was first introduced in 1971 as an extension of the original Rolex Explorer. The Explorer II was designed with professional cave and polar explorers in mind, and features a distinctive 24-hour hand and fixed bezel, which allows the wearer to distinguish between day and night hours.

This Rolex Explorer II 'Black Dial' was sold for the first time in December 2009.

This watch is also equipped with the 3186 movement which increased the time precision of the GMT-Master II model due to the Parachrome Hairsprig. It also includes features such as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a waterproof Oyster case, and the fixed GMT bezel.
