Rolex released the Explorer II in 1971 and it was designed with polar explorers, mountaineers and adventurers in mind. The Explorer II has a number of functional features that make it very suitable for outdoor use. The most iconic component is the fixed bezel with a 24-hour scale that can withstand harsh conditions.

This generation of the Rolex Explorer II was first released in 1989 and discontinued in 2011. This particular Rolex Explorer II 'Black Dial' was sold for the first time in September 2007. 

This Rolex Explorer 16570 is in Mint condition and comes with the original Rolex warranty papers and original box. Furthermore, the watch has been serviced by our watchmaker and therefore comes with a One Year of Steiner Warranty.
