The Rolex Explorer I was first introduced in 1953 and is designed for explorers and adventurers. In 2023, Rolex released a larger size of the Explorer I again. The new Explorer I is also fitted with the new calibre 3230, which can be noticed by the coronet at the bottom edge of the dial.

This Rolex Explorer I 40 was sold for the first time in November 2024.

This Explorer I is equipped with a Black Dial featuring 3, 6 and 9 Arabic hour markers with Chromalight. The Chromalight can be recognised by the lume, which lights up in blue in the dark.

This Rolex Explorer 224270 is in a Mint condition and comes with the original Rolex Warranty Card and Original Box. Furthermore, the watch has International Rolex Warranty until November 2029.
