The reference 116520 is the first generation of the Daytona with an in-house movement by Rolex, Calibre 4130. The new calibre was the result of five years of innovation, refinement, and technical improvement resulting in a better and more reliable calibre.

This highly-sought after Rolex Daytona has been sold for the first time in June 2014.

This collectable Rolex Daytona is fitted with a rare 'APH - Chromalight' Dial.

This rare 'APH' Dial can be recognised by the gap in the spacing of the letters that say 'COSMOGR' and 'APH'. This 'error' dial, which is a rarity on its own for the brand of perfection, is what gives this dial its nickname and makes it extremely desirable for watch

collectors.

The Chromalight can be recognised by the lume, which lights up in blue. This is contrary to the earlier Rolex Daytona versions, which were delivered with Superluminova applied on the dial, which lights up in a green colour.

This Rolex Daytona 116520 is in Mint condition and comes with the original Rolex Warranty Card and original box. Furthermore, the watch has been serviced by our watchmaker, and therefore it comes with one year of Steiner warranty.
