Original Rolex 'No Lume' Dial | Open 6 & 9 Date Wheel

Rolex introduced the original Datejust in 1945 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. Due to the various case sizes and materials, the Datejust has been ingrained in Rolex's history and remains incredibly popular for 75 years.

This Datejust is made out of 18k Yellow Gold and is fitted with a Green Leather Bracelet. This pristine 1601/8 is equipped with an original 'No Lume' Pie-Pan Dial. In addition, the Datejust is equipped with an Open 6 & 9 Date Wheel.

These 'No Lume' dials were specifically produced for the Japanese Market, since Japan didn't allow the use of Tritium. The indexes and hands are made of the Yellow Gold without the use of Tritium, given it a more clean look. Consequently, a 'No Lume' dial is extremely desirable for watch collectors.

The production year of this Datejust is 1971. Furthermore, the watch has been serviced by our watchmaker, and therefore it comes with One Year of Steiner Warranty.
