Rolex introduced the original Datejust in 1945 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. Due to the various case sizes and materials, the Datejust has been ingrained in Rolex's history and remains incredibly popular for 75 years.

This Rolex Datejust 36 dates back to 1973. 

This Datejust 36 is made of a combination of 18k White Gold and stainless steel and is fitted with a Jubilee bracelet. This pristine 1601 is equipped with an original 'Grey Sigma' Pie-Pan Dial. 

The Datejust 36 also contains Sigma symbols. Rolex only used these symbols for a few years, mainly at the beginning of the 1970s, and relatively few Rolex watches with the Sigma symbol exists. Therefore, a Datejust 1601 with a 'Grey Sigma' Dial is rare and tends to be highly collectible. 

The Original Pie-Pan Dial in combination with the Plexiglass gives the watch a distinguished yet sporty look. In addition, this Datejust still has its original Date Wheel, recognizable by the Open 6 and 9.

This Rolex Datejust 36 is in Mint condition. This watch is delivered as a box only set. Furthermore, the watch has been serviced by our watchmaker, and therefore it comes with one year of Steiner warranty.
