Rolex introduced the original Datejust model in 1945 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. Due to the various case sizes and materials, the Rolex Datejust has since been ingrained in Rolex's history and has remained incredibly popular for over 75 years.

This Rolex Datejust 26 'Champagne Dial' was sold for the first time in October 1989.

This specific Datejust 26 'Champagne Dial' is made up of a combination of 18k Yellow Gold and stainless steel and is fitted with a Jubilee bracelet which conceals the Crownclasp. Rolex uses 904L in its steel watches, which is an extremely resistant and highly polishable superalloy.
