Rolex released the Explorer II in 1971, and it was designed with polar surveyors, mountaineers and adventurers in mind.

This Rolex Explorer II reference 16570 ‘Black Dial’ was first released in 1989 and discontinued in 2011.

This Explorer II was first sold in May 2008 in Italy, therefore this is one of the last to be sold.

The last batch of these Rolex Explorer is unique in a few aspects. This Explorer II is fitted with the calibre 3186, which solved the issue of the wobbling GMT-hand when setting the time. This example also features the RRR Rehaut and has a M-Serial.

This Rolex Explorer 16570 is in pristine condition and comes with the original Rolex European Warranty Card and original box. Furthermore, the watch has been serviced by our watchmaker, and therefore it comes with one year of warranty.
