Rolex introduced the original Datejust in 1945 to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. Due to the enormous success, Rolex released the first Lady-Datejust in 1957.

This Datejust is made of a combination of 18k White Gold and stainless steel and is fitted with a jubilee bracelet. In addition, the roman numerals on the dial are also made out of 18K White Gold.
